Who doesn’t love toast?
Gifts for Toast Lovers (and beyond).
When I found out National Toast Day was a “real” thing, I thought, “How fun!” and I couldn’t resist creating this post.
I grew up in Napa, California. Our little city has changed a lot, but it used to be full of unique gift shops, some of which had been family run for generations.
The Gift shops at that time were awesome. One had to scale every inch of the stores to ensure a single corner wasn’t missed. Those were fun shopping days!
There was also a favorite kitchen shop as well! Shackford’s Kitchen Store has been in business since 1975 and is still a longtime local favorite. (And one must still walk every single inch of that store because it’s so full of fun items!).
Step into my kitchen shop!
As a former gift buyer, gadget lover, and “bread enthusiast”, I felt the need to create this little guide of fun toast-related gifts and other kitchen items.
Grab your shopping cart and join me as we roll through the Joyful Cook Shop! (Did you catch the play on words? Kimberly’s Joy… Joyful Cook Shop?) Yes, you can grab a mini shopping tote, but some of these items are heavy!
(Oh, and here’s a “pretend” store map for you).
Click on ANY “Gifts for Toast Lovers” photo below to view that item. Easy!

Gifts for Toast Lovers: Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets
When you walk through the doors of the Joyful Cook’s Kitchen Shop, you’ll see a beautiful large table with the latest and greatest Gifts for Toast Lovers, but first, you’ll have to walk by the Kitchen Utensils lining the entryway.
There you will find these items! (Click on any photo to view the item).
Kitchen Utensil Sets
Purchasing a new utensil here and there is fun, but sometimes a new set can be awfully tempting!
Personally, I liked the middle option made by Vawan. It comes with the basics and includes a baster, tongs, colorful measuring spoons, and hooks in case you wish to hang your new kitchen utensils.
This set is made of heat-resistant silicone, is bright and colorful, and would also make a fun wedding gift.
And, of course, I HAD to include a jar opener set for those who need a little help opening their jam or jelly!
Next Up: Mixing Bowls
I do love a good mixing bowl! Here are my favorites right now. (You will find these in the Joyful Cook’s Kitchen Store on the right side wall).
My store, of course, has decorative options, microwave-safe options, and spouted options for those French Toast and Waffle days!
(In this category, if a buy button doesn’t pop up, simply look for the button that says “BUYING OPTIONS” on the right side of the page.
Gifts for Toast Lovers: Mixers, etc.
Along the back wall, you’d find the mixers in all of the prettiest of colors, and a whole bunch of other fun kitchen items!

Head back over to the right wall, to find the next several items (next to the mixing bowls). Isn’t this tour fun?
Who doesn’t love a good cookbook? Here are a few to add to your collection (or give as a gift!).
You will find these on “spinner” displays lining the back wall.
Gifts for Toast Lovers: Coffee and Travel Mugs
You will find our mugs on free-standing displays near the checkout line, while the travel mugs will be directly behind the checkout counter.
Pot Holders and Oven Mitts
My favorite! Nothing brightens up a kitchen like a new set of kitchen towels or potholders. You’ll find them in a few areas of the store. (Look around and take your time!).
Everything else Toast!
I wanted to be SURE we had the “toast” category covered, so here are a few more items to consider in “that” area.
For Champagne Toast Lovers: Champagne Glasses
Just in case you prefer the “other” kind of “toast”, here are a few champagne-related items for you as well! Cheers!
Thanks for visiting the “store”!
I hope you enjoyed this little “trip” through my (pretend) store! I love gift buying and I love TOAST!
Although the initial focus was on Gifts for Toast Lovers, there are just “way” too many fun kitchen items out there! I had to share a little of them all!

Good morning, Kim. I read your blog yesterday and I felt one way_ Bummer,,, now that I am a keto person, no more toast!!! but, alas, one should never give up. Just try a different direction. And that is what I did. I found some KETO Bread, tried it as toast, and,,,,,,, it was great! Each bite was savored! the addage,,,,,, NEVER GIVE UP! HAPPY BELATED TOAST DAY. (-:
Thank you for your blog. It forces me every day you send one to stop and do some critical thinking. I find that it is waaaay too easy to just zip through a day and not get below the surface rigamarole. Does that make sense???
Have a great weekend

Where there is a desire for toast… there is a way! 🙂 Thanks for the note!
This is so cute! I love your play on words and I love toast. I also love your gift ideas. I have a wedding shower in a couple of weeks so I’ll check these out.
