My name is Kim Funk ~ the lady behind Kimberly’s Joy. My husband Dave and I have been together since 1993 and married since 1995. He is truly my best friend and we love to spend time together and love our beach days. We have two great kiddos, Destiny and Tyler, whom we try to be good parents to (we all do our best, right?). They somehow grew up along the way and we’re not sure HOW that happened but we hear it’s normal. They are amazing people who are both filled with creative ideas and dreams and we LOVE that!
We also have a furry child named Ranger. He’s a 100 pound “Red Fox” Lab who thinks he’s a lap dog, a super fantastic protector AND a human… and we play along because he pretty much runs the household.
Starting this blog is most definitely a dream come true as it will allow me to have my hands in so many things I love to do! I love to help others, I love to lift others when they need a hug, and I believe it’s important to use our time and skills/talents to benefit others whenever we can. Life is about relationships and connection! WE are going to have so much fun connecting through Kimberly’s Joy – I can feel it!
