Amazon Affiliates Are Small Business Owners
Amazon Helps Small Businesses. I know it sounds crazy, and the “how” may not be obvious, but it’s true!
Click on the arrow below to watch my video: “Amazon Helps Small Businesses for Christmas”. It thoroughly explains how the Amazon Associate Program can help small online businesses grow and “why” the term “small businesses” also applies to bloggers.
What is the definition of a small business?
Although most people think of a small business as a local brick and mortar store, that is no longer the case. Online businesses are now being included in this category as well.
Amazon Helps Small Businesses in this way…
Clicking on an ad like this supports my small business.
Amazon Helps Small Businesses through their Amazon Associate Program.
Amazon Affiliates can earn income simply by a reader clicking on an item or an ad for 24 hours! (Read that again!). That’s right, so even if you click on an ad (like the one directly above this paragraph), or on an item in one of my Christmas Gift Guides and DON’T purchase something I recommended, I will still get “credit” (so-to-speak) for anything you purchase for 24 hours. Not too shabby, right?
So if you are going to shop with Amazon this year, and you know someone who is an Amazon Affiliate/Amazon Associate, support their small business! Simply visit their site and click on an Amazon ad or item. YOU taking the extra step to open Amazon.com through their site will be much appreciated and may help grow their business!
Thinking of starting an online business?
Here’s a great article I found on starting an online business. If you’ve been thinking about starting one, click “here” to read, 27 Easy to start” Online Business Ideas for Beginners. (Hint: Idea #2 talks about affiliate marketing, ie: Amazon!).
Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases (at no additional cost to my readers).
